Fair, Canine Rescue hold benefits
Lee County Fair
The Southwest Florida & Lee County Fair will be held on March 2 from 3 to 9 p.m. For the first time ever the Southwest Florida and Lee County Fair are reaching out to the community with the food bank. The admittance can be paid by bringing in two cans of food per person.The food will be donated to the Harry Chapin food bank.
Canine Rescue
Pekes and Pals Canine Rescue’s Annual Charity Flea Market will be held on March 7 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event, held at 3117 S.E. 16th Place, Cape Coral, will benefit Pekes and Pals Canine Rescue’s animals presently in care.
Highlights will include, household items, tools, furniture and various other goods for sale and rescue dogs to “meet and greet”
Refreshments for donation, consisting of coffee, donuts, hot dogs and soft drinks, will be available.
