Pastor Dennis Gingerich continues the series, “Tough Questions” with the message, “How Can We Trust the Bible?” We will look at how the Bible came together, explore findings in archaeology and science, and connect ancient prophesies with their fulfillment.

Cape Coral Center for Spiritual Living

Michael Bernard Beckwith, founder of the Agape International Spiritual Center and a featured teacher in The Secret, will speak at the Harborside Event Center in Fort Myers on Friday evening, Feb. 13, and at an intimate daytime seminar at Cape Coral’s Center for Spiritual Living on Saturday, Feb. 14.

Cape Coral Turning Point Church

The Cape Coral Turning Point Church, currently meeting in the Wm. Austen Youth Center in Cape Coral, 315 SW 2nd Ave will hold special services on Sunday, Feb. 15, at 10 a.m. Praise and worship will be led by Tiffany West and Vicki Greene, followed by a message from Senior Pastor Dennis West. The church offers a Children’s Church from 10:30-11:30 a.m. led by Jodie Wheatly. The church also offers co-ed softball, Ladies Bible study, and monthly area family trips. DayBreak Fellowship

Free dessert and movie night, Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, couples are invited to a night of entertainment with a dessert station followed by the movie, Fireproof, starring Kirk Cameron. The event is presented by DayBreak Fellowship at Cape Coral High School, 2300 Santa Barbara Blvd. at 7 p.m. Couples interested in receiving free tickets to attend should call for reservations by Feb. 12, 573-9009. Evangelical Presbyterian Church

Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Cape Coral began the women’s Bible study that will run through March 31, from 9-11 a.m. or 7-9 p.m. on the “Book of Phillipians.”

Women of the Word is a program that brings women in the Lee County area together to support one another in their faith. Women who are mothers are involved in the study, their children have a special program for all ages. The study is done in small groups that become support groups as relationships are developed. The study meets Tuesday mornings from 9-11 a.m. or 7-9 p.m. at Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 701 Mohawk Parkway. There is a complete nursery and children’s program, including homeschoolers. Space is limited for the children’s programs.

First Church of God (Anderson, Ind.)

The First Church of God of Cape Coral is a growing, multi-cultural place to worship.

The winter series of gospel music began in January. On the first Sunday of each month a musical group will minister during morning worship service.

The Doerfel Family with Bluegrass Gospel. March 1. Last Generation Ministries will finish up the series with word and song on April 5.

Grace Church

Grace Church Cape Coral has opened the Grace Community Center on 4151 Hancock Bridge Parkway. The GCC serves as the site of the Grace North Fort Myers Campus Sunday Service at 10 a.m., and it supports GED classes, Food Pantry and the Blanket Ministry for the Homeless. It provides GED classes and soon a parenting class will be held . The Thrift Shop is open Tuesday, 10 a.m. -4 p.m. and Wednesday-Saturday, 10-4. Plans are in the works for free/low cost medical with new teams forming to feed the hungry, clothe the needy, heal the sick, and educate the uneducated. Grace Church and the Community Center believe that each person who is snatched from a life of addiction and violence and brought to a life of dignity and freedom can only help the crime ridden communities in SWFL.

How you can help:

Volunteer in the thrift shop, donate un-needed items to the thrift shop. Donate food to feed the hungry, donate blankets for the homeless. The team also delivers towels, any size shampoo and soap, toilet paper, disposable razors, inexpensive ponchos to the homeless. Donate Tuesday to Saturday. Living Faith Church

Living Faith Church located at 939 S.W. 7th Court, on Feb. 22, at 7 p.m., Paul Todd will be in concert at the church. This will be an evening of Christian music and entertainment!! The Living Faith Church praise band will also be performing. Tickets are free (a free will love offering will be taken).

Messiah Lutheran Church

Ken Medema will be performing in concert on Sunday, Feb. 8, at 3 p.m., at Messiah Lutheran Church in Cape Coral.

Medema, though blind from birth, has been singing over 32 years in every venue imaginable – from churches to conventions to colleges to corporations. Using his gift of improvisation, he hears with his heart stories from people, or themes from events or speeches, and sings the stories back to audiences of all ages. He has demonstrated his extraordinary musical vision to a growing number of loyal fans across the nation and around the world.

The Village Church

The 2008/2009 Season of Praise Concert Series at The Village Church located in Shell Point Retirement Community located just off Summerlin Road.
