Neighborhood Watch meetings
First Quarterly Meeting of the Neighborhood Watch of Cape Coral will be held Tuesday, Jan. 20, at 7 p.m. All residents of Cape Coral are welcome to attend.
There will be a short general meeting with election of officers, including crime trends and an opportunity to discuss individual neighborhood issues with representatives from the Cape Coral Police Department.
The program for the evening is a presentation on The Citizens Police Academy.
New Neighborhood Watch Group Sign-Up Meeting is Thursday, Jan. 22, 7 p.m. Both meetings are held at the Cape Coral Police Department, Community Room.
Plan to attend the sign-up meeting if interested in starting a neighborhood watch group in the area. Sign-up meetings are held the fourth Thursday of each month. For further information, call 573-3048.
Sands Area Neighborhood Association Inc.
Cape Coral Council Member Peter Brandt will be the speaker at the meeting of the Sands Area Neighborhood Association, Inc., on Tuesday,
Jan. 20, at Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 701 Mohawk
Parkway, Cape Coral. The public is invited to the 7:30 p.m. meeting.
Brandt will speak on topics of interest to the neighborhood surrounding Sands Boulevard, including median landscaping and further development of the neighborhood park. For further information, call 540-3221.
