Rising Stars Art Gallery

Dana Rudolph is currently showing her exquisite jewelry creations at Rising Stars Art Gallery. Rudolph has been designing and making jewelry for more than 30 years, in addition to pursuing her artistic vision in sculpture and drawing. She has recently moved to Port Charlotte from Troy, N.Y., where she owned an award-winning jewelry and bead business. She was professor of art at the Sage Colleges in Albany, N.Y.

Cape Coral Arts Studio

The Cape Coral Arts Studio presents the following events.

– Today-Jan 30: “The Surreal World of Greg Deckler” exhibit. Free and open to the public.

– The Stone Age Emporium presents a bead show Jan. 24 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. One-day event provides an opportunity to choose from a large selection of supplies for anyone working in jewelry, glass beading, precious metal clay, gold and silversmithing. There will be more than 200 varieties of gemstones and glass beads available.

– Fine Craft Bash: Jan. 25 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. A day of hands-on fine craft workshops that include silver jewelry, glass fusing, enameling, past paper boxes, intro to beadmaking, painted gourds, stained glass, raku firing and wire wrapping. Workshops from 9 a.m.-noon and from 1-4 p.m. Cost is $35 for one workshop or $60 for two workshops. Special rates for members and students. Winter class session runs today-March 2. National League of American Pen Women

The Southwest Florida branch of the National League of American Pen Women presents an exhibit of their work at Arts For Act, 2265 First St., Fort Myers. The exhibit will run through Feb. 3. The National League of American Pen Women began in 1897. For information, contact Peg Cullen at 283-6498.

FGCU Art Gallery

Florida Gulf Coast University Art Gallery invites the public to the “Man Made” exhibition featuring the environmental art of Mary Ellen Croteau.
