Bad to the Bone 5K race looking for local support
It’s that time of year again. Preparations for the third annual Bad to the Bone 5K race held at Randell Research Center on Pine Island is under way and we want you to be part of this wonderful event.
Since last year’s race, both the boys and girls Cross Country program at IdaS. Baker High School have reached new heights, literally.
This past summer, the entire Cross Country team took part in some tough training in the mountains of Tennessee. On Nov. 7, the boys placed second and the girls placed fifth in their district.
Behind these great achievements is the support of the community through the Bad to the Bone race. The athletes in this program are our future, let’s support them in the island event.
Yes, times are tough. Any donations to this wonderful event would be greatly appreciated. This is a way to advertise your business (names on runners shirts) and help a great cause.
