Food Drive for Nations Association Charities
Damon Brist, Financial Representative for Alliance Financial Group, is coordinating a food drive for Nations Association Charities on behalf of the South Fort Myers Rotary Club, Rotary Club of East Fort Myers, and Alliance Financial Group. Brist is pooling the resources of the three organizations to supply frozen turkeys and canned foods for Nations’ Thanksgiving dinner to be held on Thursday, Nov. 27, at the Tice Community Services Center. Rev. Dr. Israel Suárez, Founder of Nations Association Charities, is expecting to feed more than 400 individuals. Nations will also be providing an additional 350 boxes of frozen turkeys and canned food to needy families for home preparation. Food boxes can be picked up at the Tice Community Services Center starting Thursday, Nov. 20.
The need is great this year. Public donations in the form of cash and canned goods can be dropped off to Damon Brist at Alliance Financial Group located at 14021 Metropolis Avenue in Fort Myers. Frozen turkeys can be donated through Wednesday, Nov. 19, at all Perkins Restaurants in Lee County or dropped off at the Tice Community Services Center, 4625 Palm Beach Boulevard in Fort Myers. Rotary Club members are asked to bring donations to regular Rotary meetings the week of Nov. 17. Additional details are available by calling Damon Brist at 561-2900.
