Dollar General relocates to new store in North Fort Myers

Company plans to celebrate relocation with grand opening Saturday, Nov. 2

Dollar General is excited to announce its recently-relocated store at 6391 Bayshore Road in North Fort Myers is now open. To celebrate, the Company plans to host a grand opening event on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 8 a.m. which will include $10 complimentary gift cards to the first 50 adult customers and DG tote bags to the first 100 customers.

The new store will continue to provide customers with the same convenient and affordable access to household essentials that customers trust Dollar General to provide, just in a different location.

“We are excited to reopen our relocated store in North Fort Myers and celebrate with the local community,” said Matthew Simonsen, Dollar General’s senior vice president of real estate and store development. “As part of our mission of Serving Others, we look forward to continue being a strong business partner and good neighbor at our new, convenient location.”

Schools, nonprofit organizations and libraries within a 15-mile radius of the store can apply for Dollar General Literacy Foundation grants.
