Modern Tile, Carpet & Hardscapes is bringing its legendary commitment to excellence and dedication to customer service to the next step in its evolution, adding hardscapes to an already popular collection of tile, carpet and woodwork products.

The family owned and operated business, which has called Fort Myers home since 1985, is adding hardscapes for driveways, walkways, patios, pool decks, retaining walls, captain’s walks, landscape lighting, etc. Hardscapes can include rocks, bricks, stone, wood, marble and porcelain pavers.

The company saw this as the next step in its evolution triggered by customer interests in porcelain hardscapes a couple of years ago.

“This is an untapped revenue stream,” company vice president John Linden III said. “It is something that fits. It isn’t stretching our scope. (Hardscapes) were the closest to our process without tweaking it too much.”

Throughout its history, Modern Tile, Carpet & Hardscapes has always been methodical in its approach, reacting to consumer demands. The company originally sold and installed tile, then went into carpet followed by wood.

Modern Tile, Carpet & Hardscapes will use dedicated crew of employees to install hardscapes, and those specialized employees could be working in tandem with other company employees working inside a home on tile and carpet.
