Raso Realty to hold grand reopening, kick off 50th Anniversary Celebration
Raso Realty is built on loyalty, commitment and responding to the needs of its clients and community. That’s why this family-owned business – the longest real estate agency in the city – was determined to reopen after its building suffered significant damage because of Hurricane Ian last year.
Beginning at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28, and after months of remodeling and renovation, Raso Realty and community leaders will celebrate its grand re-opening. There will be a ribbon-cutting and tour of the recently finished building at its location, 4812 Cape Coral St., in downtown Cape Coral. And it’s more than just a grand reopening. The business will also kick off its 50th Anniversary Celebration. Raso Realty first opened in Cape Coral on June 10, 1973, bringing to life the vision of the founders, Joe and Grace Raso.
Billed as a 3-4-1 event (the remodel/tour, ribbon cutting, anniversary celebration), Raso Realty and its long history and service to the community will be honored by several speakers, including Cape Coral Mayor John Gunter. There will be light refreshments. Photos and items from iconic moments in the city’s history also will be displayed. Other speakers will include Raso Reality owner and broker Dennis Hackworth.
“Throughout our history, Raso Realty has been a labor of love not only for real estate but for the Cape Coral community and Southwest Florida,” said Hackworth. “This was certainly a labor of love to reopen, but this agency and this family were determined to bring back everything thing this business means to us and the area.”
