Fundraiser set for Sunday to benefit employees of Bubba’s Roadhouse, Bert’s Club
A joint fund raiser set for Sunday will benefit employees from a pair of popular eateries hard hit by Ian.
The fundraiser will be held 3-6 p.m. in the parking lot at Bubba’s Roadhouse Saloon to benefit employees from Bubba’s as well as Bert’s Club on Pine Island. There will be food and live music, including Skip Bowman, from Bert’s, playing his steel drum.
Gloria Jordan, owner of La Trattoria Cafe Napoli and Lobster Lady owner Mary Beth Keslinger are teaming up with radio talent Gina Birch from Sunny 106.7 to spearhead the event.
“All the money goes to benefit our employees,” said Jay Johnson, owner of Bubba’s Roadhouse Saloon, 2121 Pine Island Road.
“I hate to think of one of our crew not being able to pay their rent, or make a car payment,” said Bernard Johnson, owner of Bert’s Bar and Grill and Bert’s Pine Bay Gallery on Pine Island.
Bubba’s is at 2121 Pine Island Road in Cape Coral.
