LadyCakes Bakery, celebrating eight years in business in Cape Coral, was recently named one of the top seven bakeries in the state of Florida.

The Best Things in Florida ranking by Americantowns Media states, “Locals love this place because of their high-quality cakes that lack no detail. They also have read-to-go cakes on a regular basis alongside their fresh cookies, brownies, and cupcakes. This makes it easy for you to add a last-minute treat to any occasion.”

LadyCakes Bakery owner Bess Charles and her husband, Jeff, opened their original 842-square-foot space in 2014 but today has grown to almost 3,000 square feet of baking and decorating space.

“We are a small family-owned and operated bakery with big dreams and big customer base, we love all the local support,” Bess Charles said.

LadyCakes Bakery specializes in custom cakes for all occasions. The bakery also offers a daily assortment of gourmet cupcakes, cookies, brownies and more fresh baked goodies.

The bakery regularly works with local non-profit organizations, offering donations and additional support to Better Together, Community Cooperative, Blue Line Bears, Pace Center for Girls, Girl Scouts of America, March of Dimes, NAMI of Lee and Collier Counties, and more.
