MK Architecture awarded contract for Sunnyside Hotel

MK Architecture has been awarded the architectural and engineering services for Sunnyside Hotel, a new exclusive boutique hotel to be located on 16th Place in Cape Coral. This hotel will be designed in the coastal contemporary style and will provide an upscale Florida vacation experience to the guests. The project is anticipated to be under construction by the first quarter of 2023.

EHC announces three large-scale projects

EHC, a construction company specializing in pre-construction, earthwork, and infrastructure development, has announced three new projects: Cape Coral Diplomat, Chiquita Boulevard North and Skye Ranch 2 (Lorraine Road).

The Cape Coral Diplomat project will be constructed by Morrow Construction and EHC at Diplomat Parkway in Cape Coral. During the course of this project, three four-story apartment complexes will be constructed. EHC will be performing site work, clear and grub work, sidewalks and finish grading.

The Chiquita Boulevard North project is being carried out by EHC in conjunction with the city of Cape Coral. The project involves widening Chiquita Boulevard. There will be MOT, milling of the roadway, drainage, grading, utilities, paving, striping and marking done as part of the project.

Taylor Morrison has contract EHC for the Skye Ranch 2 project in Sarasota County. As part of the project, Lorraine Road will undergo phase 2 of construction. EHC is responsible for mobilization, clearing, grading, and excavation as well as embankment and stabilization.

Morris-Depew hires Kissida as survey rodman

Surveying and mapping are essential parts in the beginning stages of any development and critical to the expert work conducted by Morris-Depew, one of the state’s top consulting firms offering civil engineering, land planning, landscape architecture, surveying and mapping services. Morris-Depew helps complete treatment center for Florida Cancer Specialists

Morris-Depew Associates, a fully-resourced design, planning, engineering and landscape architecture firm, recently completed another cancer treatment center for Florida Cancer Specialists at the northwest corner of Colonial Boulevard and I-75.

Project manager Stephen VerVaecke and landscape architect Matt Lincolnhol, helped create a new 20,000-plus-square-foot facility, which features 50 infusion treatment areas, 18 exam rooms and aesthetically pleasing views for patients undergoing treatment.

The project was team was headed by Optimal Outcomes and included Precise Construction as the construction manager and general contractor, Grace Hebert Curtis Architects, ECS Florida for geotechnical services and Passarella & Associates for an environmental assessment. Precise Construction completed construction of the project in June.
