Cape Cabaret to feature ‘It Was a Very Good Year’
The multimedia experience “It Was a Very Good Year” covers the life of Frank Sinatra’s from his early days in Hoboken, N.J., to his triumphant emergence from retirement.
Entertainer Tony Sands’ show launches with Sinatra’s early years with Tommy Dorsey, and stretch all the way to the Madison Square Garden comeback, while detailing the various stops in between.
“People love the show,” Sands said. “They really don’t expect what they’re going to be seeing. It really is like a musical. If you don’t feel the song, it won’t get across to the audience.”
Sands will be performing such hits as “That’s Life,” “Come Fly With Me,” “Luck Be A Lady,” “My Way,” “New York New York,” and many more.
The show will be at Cape Cabaret, 4725 Vincennes Blvd., Cape Coral, Friday, July 29, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20. Call 239-549-3000 for additional information.
