Fort Myers Brewing Company to host St. Patrick’s Day food truck rally March 17

Fort Myers Brewing Company is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a food truck rally from noon to 11 p.m., Thursday, March 17, featuring specialty beer releases, food and live music.

Fort Myers Brewing is releasing two specialty brews to celebrate the occasion, an Irish Red Ale and Turn the Lights Stout. The Irish Red Ale is a balanced, easy-drinking beer with a moderate malt character that is full of caramel and toasted notes. The deep reddish-copper color comes from both crystal malt and a small dose of highly kilned grain. Turn the Lights Stout is a dry Irish stout, a black beer with a dry-roasted character thanks to the use of coffee-like roasted barley and a moderate degree of roasted malt aromas.

Throughout the day, guests can enjoy dishes from five local food trucks including Wicked Streatery starting at 2 p.m. and The Nosh Truck, Sweet Cheesus, Mambo and 3D BBQ starting at 4 p.m.

Tom Beckman will perform live from 3-6 p.m., followed by Hat Trick from 7-10 p.m.

The St. Patrick’s Day festivities will be held at Fort Myers Brewing Company, 12811 Commerce Lakes Drive, Suite 28, in Fort Myers. For more information, visit Facebook.com/FMBrew or call 239-313-6576.
