There will be a Grand Opening Party for all ages this Saturday, March 12, at the D1 Fort Myers facility, located at 9359 Ben C. Pratt/Six Mile Cypress Parkway, Fort Myers. The grand opening event will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The facility will be offering workout stations, while also providing catered food, snacks and beverages. There will also be fun games, D1 challenges and music.

Join the hometown owners and NFL superstars Sammy Watkins, Jaylen Watkins and Tre Boston for a Meet & Greet at the new D1 Facility with guest appearances. Visitors will get the chance to tour the facility and have pictures taken with the owners.

Founded in 2001 by former NFL player Will Bartholomew, and based in Nashville, D1 Training began franchising in 2016. It has 36 locations currently open, with an additional 70 in development, across 26 states. D1 Training has been endorsed by the NFL Players Association as an approved training facility and is a preferred partner of the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
