LandQuest announces transactions

LandQuest Commercial has announced the following recent real estate transactions:

• Freedom Venture Management, LLC purchased the 4.34-acre Van Loon Terrace site at 35-43 N.E. 10th Place in Cape Coral, for $3,050,000. Bob O’Connor of LandQwest Commercial represented the seller, Summit 69 Ave LLC, in the transaction.

“This property was a shovel-ready opportunity in an up-trending multi-family market,” said O’Connor. He added “The buyer paid a premium and intends to develop.”

The property sits in an Opportunity Zone with a City-approved site plan to develop up to 106 multi-family, garden style apartments.

• Dr. Jay Shartzer renewed 2,329 square feet of office space in Palm Pointe Shoppes at 11609 S. Cleveland Ave., #24 in Fort Myers, from 2010 Palm Pointe LP. Mike Concilla and Laura Cari of LandQwest Commercial were the transaction brokers.

• Lighthand leased 1,250 square feet of retail space in Plymouth Plaza at 15248 S. Tamiami Trail in Fort Myers, from Susence FL Holdings, LLC. Bruce Micciche, CCIM of LandQwest Commercial represented the landlord.

• Master Men’s Grooming extended its 1,200-square-foot retail lease in Palm Pointe Shoppes at 11601 S. Cleveland Ave., #7, in Fort Myers, from 2010 Palm Pointe LP. Mike Concilla and Laura Cari of LandQwest Commercial were the transaction brokers.

Lee BIA Builders Care honors outstanding volunteers, partners

Lee BIA Builders Care, the nonprofit charitable arm of the Lee Building Industry Association, recently presented its annual awards that honored community partners and volunteers for their commitment to Lee County homeowners in need.

Awards include: Volunteer of the Year, presented to Ken Solmonson of Beattie Development; Partner of the Year, recognizing Raymond Building Supply; Contractor Partner of the Year, presented to Beattie Development; and the Michael English Hearts and Hammers Award, awarded to P.J. Anzalone of Ferguson Enterprises.

“Our volunteers and partners are tremendous advocates for Builders Care, and we are truly grateful for the many ways that they support our mission and the homeowners we serve,” said Crystal Stouten, executive director of Lee BIA Builders Care. “Whether they are volunteering their time or helping fund a life-changing project, these individuals and companies continually go above and beyond to support local homeowners in need.”

• Children’s Specialist of Florida-Cardiology leased a 1,496-square-foot medical office at 15750 New Hampshire Court, Suite B, Fort Myers, from HDS, LLC. stan stouder, CCIM of CRE Consultants represented the lessor and Justin Ankey of Mayhugh Commercial represented the lessee in negotiating the transaction.

Neal Communities opens Heritage Preserve neighborhood at Verandah

Neal Communities has announced the opening of the Heritage Preserve neighborhood at Verandah, a 1,456-acre gated, golf course community in Fort Myers.

MK Architecture awarded contract for Goodwill Store renovation

MK Architecture has been awarded the architectural services for the renovation for the Goodwill Store located on Daniels Parkway at Plantation Road in Fort Myers. The scope of work includes new administrative offices, restrooms and a new covered exterior entrance. The general contractor for the project is Stephen R. Bowen Construction Inc., and is anticipated to commence construction in the spring of 2022.
