Gulf Coast Village will host the “Art of Chocolate,” an event featuring resident Louise Hawk, Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 2 p.m. in Cape Coral.

Hawk and her family own Gertrude Hawk Chocolates, a chocolatier with more than 60 retail locations in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey. Mastering the art of chocolate confections, the 96-year-old resident will share her family’s passion and riveting journey through the world of sweets.

The Art of Chocolate is part of the new event series at Gulf Coast Village called, “The Art of Aging.” Monthly events aim to help seniors tap into their creativity and master the art of aging while showcasing the artistic talents and stories of Gulf Coast Village residents.

Gulf Coast Village is at 1333 Santa Barbara Blvd., Cape Coral.
