By Staff | Dec 16, 2021

Culver’s of Cape Coral is a Gold Finalist in the nationwide Culver’s Crew Challenge contest where Culver’s restaurants compete in the areas of quality, service, cleanliness, hospitality, community outreach and team member training and development.

Culver’s of Cape Coral is one of five restaurants out of over 830 to advance. The national champion will be announced in Indianapolis at Culver’s annual convention in February 2022.

“I’m so proud of our team members for putting forth this effort,” said LaVonne Daveler, owner/operator of Culver’s of Cape Coral. “The best part of this competition is that our guests are on the receiving end of an awesome Culver’s experience.”

“It always starts with people. We truly have fantastic people serving our guests in all our restaurants,” explains Craig Culver, co-founder of Culver’s. “And, it’s really very special to me when we can recognize their hard work and dedication to their guests and communities.”

“This is a tremendous achievement and each of these team members should be very proud of their work in being named one of the top 5 Culver’s restaurants in the country,” says Rick Silva, Culver’s president and CEO.

The competition includes prize money with $50,000 going to the National Champion. The four Gold Finalist restaurants will receive $12,500 each, with winnings shared with the managers and team members.

The evaluation of restaurants and team members comes from the Culver’s support team and utilizing elements of our guest feedback program.

The award presentation is scheduled to take place today, Dec. 17, at 9:30 a.m. Culver and Silva will be presenting the award in-person.
