By Staff | Nov 11, 2021

Gulf Coast Village has appointed Ronda Rose as administrator for Palmview, the community’s assisted living and memory care center.

Rose has served as Gulf Coast Village’s resident services director since 2016. In this role, she was responsible for the wellbeing of more than 170 independent living residents, coordinating residents’ transportation, healthcare needs, moving and other concierge services.

In her new position, Rose will help maintain a caring atmosphere that allows Palmview residents to embrace moments with purpose and joy, offering a greater sense of freedom and self-esteem. Palmview, which opened in 2017, features 80 assisted living and 48 memory support residences inside a modern, 130,980-square-foot building.

“My mother was a resident of Gulf Coast Village in both independent living and assisted living residences, so this community holds a special place in my heart,” Rose said. “As administrator at Palmview, my goal is to offer an abundance of engaging opportunities that encourage residents to live an active lifestyle while also enriching their daily experiences.”

Gulf Coast Village is a Continuing Care Retirement Community that offers a full continuum of care, including independent living, assisted living, specialized memory support, skilled nursing, home health and rehabilitation services, as well as Senior Choice at Home, a continuing care at home program.

Prior to joining Gulf Coast Village, Rose worked as a customer care coordinator, service manager, operations manager and customer service manager for a leading provider of products and services that provide mobility, health and personal independence. She also has experience in healthcare finance, medical equipment provisions and health care operations.

Rose earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Iowa State University and is licensed by Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration.

Palmview, a state-of-the-art, 130,980-square-foot facility, is located on the Gulf Coast Village campus at 1433 Santa Barbara Blvd. in Cape Coral. For more information, visit GulfCoastVillage.com or call 239-772-1333.
