The Bradenton, Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Fort Myers Beach, Naples, Port Charlotte and Sarasota Hooters locations partnered with the Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida to help with its annual cookie sale fundraising efforts.

Representatives from South Florida Hooters locations presented a donation of $15,000 to the Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida Council on April 8.

Fort Myers Hooters Girls Dakleyris Nunez, Dara Kurlevskaya and Maya Koselke presented the donation to Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida Council CEO Mary Anne Servian at their camp in Fort Myers.

As part of the program, Hooters matched every box sold by the Girl Scouts at each of their 7 restaurant locations.

“We were thrilled to host the next generation of young female entrepreneurs at our restaurants. We are proud to partner with the Girl Scouts and to help them reach more people in our community and raise additional funds from their cookie booths,” said LTP Director of Marketing Kristi Quarles.

Quarles, an eight-year veteran of the Girl Scouts, has first hand experience on the importance and the skills learned from the Girl Scouts annual fundraising efforts.

Proceeds from the cookie sales stay local.

The additional boxes purchased by Hooters were donated to the Girl Scouts Hometown Hero’s program.
