Governor appoints Cape’s Rabin to the Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board
Gov. Ron DeSantis this week announced the appointment of Janet Rabin, Herbert Jourdan and Shawn Wilson to the Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board.
Rabin, of Cape Coral, is team lead for Collateral Valuations at NewRez. Previously, she held appraisal positions with Ditech Financial, Corelogic and Landsafe.
Rabin has been involved with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Association of Real Estate Research Professionals and has served on the Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board since 2016.
The Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board regulates the issuance of all appraisal licenses; disciplines appraisers in violation of license law; ensures qualifications for licensure are in compliance with Appraiser Qualifications Board guidelines; regulates the approval of appraisal courses; establishes standards for real estate appraisers; and establishes standards for supervisory appraisers.

LandQwest completes $1.27 million professional medical center sale in Fort Myers
Grace Management Holdings, LLC recently purchased the professional medical center at 6150 Diamond Centre Court in Fort Myers from 5M Holdings for $1,275,000.
The location and prototype of the building was a pristine match for the buyer, looking to expand its services in providing In-home senior care to the Southwest Florida market.
“The location was optimal for the buyer,” Said Bob O’Connor, associate of LandQwest Commercial. “Given their expertise, their operation in their new location will help satisfy the need for In-home Senior Care to patients throughout the market.”

Seagate Development Group completes Conditioned Air facility
Seagate Development Group has completed Conditioned Air’s new operations center. This comes after six weeks of site clearing and utilities preparation as well as five months of construction.
Located at 14550 Global Parkway in Fort Myers, the 41,745-square-foot facility is supporting the company’s growth throughout Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties. This is made possible in part by 30,945 square feet of warehouse space as well as 10,800 square feet of office space, including a 9,800-square-foot mezzanine for additional storage and future expansion.
Constructed out of 7 ¼-inch tilt wall panels that average 32 feet high, the world-class operations center features an 18-bay loading dock, multipurpose administrative area, 84-person training room and state-of-the-art training lab.
Additionally, there are 10 executive offices, expansive supervisory space as well as a highly accommodating conference room and estimating area.
The mechanical room contains a 100-square-foot glass wall that showcases Conditioned Air’s HVAC-branded equipment. Conditioned Air applies these different brands to everyday work.
