SCHEA’s 7th Annual Mardi Gras Trolley Event

The South Cape Hospitality and Entertainment Association will present its 7th Annual South Cape Mardi Gras Trolley Event Saturday, Feb. 22, from 7-11 p.m.

Travel around the Cape Coral Entertain-ment District on a special fleet of trolleys while stopping at various South Cape bars, breweries and restaurants to try custom drink and appetizer samples. Dress up and have fun at the Mardi Gras-themed pub crawl.

Participating locations include Back-Streets Sports Bar, Big Blue Brewing, Big Storm Brewing, Monkey Bar, Paradise Pizza & Parlor, Rockade, Dixie Road-house, Rack’em Spirits & Times, Cruisers, Rusty’s Raw Bar & Grill, Tiki Hut, and Ralph’s Place.

The ticket price includes a special gift at check-in, unlimited trolley rides during the event, a passport to all sampling locations, as well as all drink and appetizer samples. Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce to host Feb. 20 Spring Training luncheon

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheon on Feb. 20 will kick off Southwest Florida’s spring training season with a panel discussion featuring representatives from the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins.

Senior management from the Red Sox and Twins will preview the upcoming season, with highlights including how Southwest Florida’s favorite spring training teams gear up for the season, the draw of Lee County’s first-rate baseball facilities, and what’s in store for fans during this year’s spring training games, which begin late February.

The Chamber luncheon will take place from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20, at the JetBlue Park at Fenway South, 11500 Fenway South Drive, in Fort Myers.

Target Roofing hosts grand opening celebration

Target Roofing & Sheet Metal hosted a grand opening event on Jan. 21 to celebrate the completion of its new headquarters in Fort Myers at 1841 Ortiz Ave., just north of MLK.

Attendees enjoyed guided tours of the 19,668-square-foot facility, which includes office space and a state-of-the-art sheet metal shop, as well as live demonstrations of in-house equipment and a barbecue dinner. The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce was on hand for a ribbon-cutting to officially mark the project completion.

The new headquarters accommodates more than 200 full-time employees and houses Target Roofing’s fleet of 120 vehicles, heavy equipment and machinery.

Henderson Franklin elects Ross stockholder
