Your business at a glance:

What you do: Owner of Wonderland Realty, a full service real estate company, and Cape Coral Town Center (Big John’s).

Unique niche: Growing up in Cape Coral since 1960 afforded me the opportunity and gave me the advantage to learn all I could about growth-related issues, be it infrastructure, building codes, zoning, utilities, public reverse osmosis systems, construction types, parks systems and much more. All of which has enhanced my ability to work with people over a variety of issues. All have served me well as a Realtor, a property manager, not to mention personal growth. This knowledge has spilled over into many other facets of business and community endeavors.

Bragging rights: Being the oldest long-term working Realtor in Cape Coral (I don’t think Gloria Tate has me beat).

Where you see your business in five years: Hopefully retired? (see biggest risk answer).

About you:

Describe yourself in one word: Capable.

Hero, role model or mentor: H.D. Anderson (my grandfather) and Paul Sanborn.

Person you’d most like to meet: Having met President Trump during my boating/racing days, I’d have to say Dirty Harry.

Book that changed your life: Dale Carnegie books.

Best business advice you’ve ever received: Make your handshake your word.

Biggest risk you ever taken: Founding a bank

Personal passion: Boating and leaving Cape Coral a better place than I found it.

Guilty pleasure: Smoking.
