Dr. Jennifer Brandon has returned to Cape Coral and opened a new chiropractic office at 3316 Chiquita Blvd., Suite 1. In 2013, she opened Abundant Life Chiropractic on Santa Barbara Boulevard, but she left the area two years ago due to family issues.
She has provided chiropractic treatments for children and adults for over 30 years. All ages are welcome.

Rhoad new human resources director for Lee County Port Authority
Laura Rhoad has joined the Lee County Port Authority as director of human resources. She will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to employee matters at Southwest Florida International Airport and Page Field in Fort Myers, including working with members of the executive management team to build and manage organizational development, policies and programs, compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, recruiting, hiring and retention, as well as compliance with federal, state and local laws.
Rhoad has been in the human resources field for more than 25 years. Most recently, she served as the director of human resources at Shaw Development in Bonita Springs. Before that,

August passenger count increases at RSW
During August, 481,185 passengers traveled through Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers, an increase of 11.5 percent compared to August 2016. Year-to-date, passenger traffic is up 3.3 percent from the same period last year.
The traffic leader in August was Delta Air Lines with 117,288 passengers traveling to and from Fort Myers. Rounding out the top five airlines were Southwest (92,054), American (89,926), JetBlue (56,157) and United (41,788).
Southwest Florida International Airport had 4,640 aircraft operations, an increase of 12 percent compared to August 2016. Page Field saw 6,915 operations, a 12.2 percent decrease from August 2016. In addition, slightly more than 2.8 million pounds of air freight moved through Southwest Florida International Airport in August 2017, an increase of 9.9 percent compared to August 2016.

Bruce L. Scheiner to host 2nd Annual Charity Poker Tournament
This Saturday, Sept. 30, Attorney Bruce L. Scheiner will host his 2nd Annual Bruce L. Scheiner Charity Poker Tournament to benefit the March of Dimes ‘Bikers for Babies’ event. The tournament is being held at the Naples-Fort Myers Greyhound Track and Poker Room and is open to players of all levels.
