Dixie Brown, DVM, of East West Veterinary Care Center in Cape Coral has just finished remodeling her Cape Coral offices at 3625 Del Prado Blvd., S., to include luxurious “home away from home” suites for overnight pet boarding.

The home-like suites calm and comfort dogs and cats when their owners must be away. Special daytime services available include swimming sessions, special frosty treats and doggy daycare activities.

Cats even have a separate space to allow for restful peace and quiet.

As a full-service veterinary facility, East West Veterinary Care Center can administer any needed medications or medical treatment required for medically challenged pets. To be boarded, pets must be established clients and have received current vaccinations in advance of their stay.

East West Veterinary Care Center specializes in traditional Western medical and surgical services, as well as Eastern alternative therapies, such as acupuncture, chiropractic and homeopathy. The facility expansion now accommodates a complete physical therapy room for post-surgical recovery and care of chronic musculoskeletal issues, including onsite water therapy in the heated, salt water pool.

Founded in 2001 by Brown, East West Veterinary Care Center now has three doctors serving domestic and exotic pets.

A sister clinic, South West Veterinary Care Center, is located at 1616 Cape Coral Parkway, W., in the Camelot Isles Shopping Center. Appointments are available from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.
