Maurer named top Listing Sales Associate
for March at Century 21 Sunbelt Realty
Jackie Maurer, sales associate with Century 21 Sunbelt Realty, was named the office’s top Listing Sales Associate in the month of March.

Lee County Community Development
issues 4,161 permits in March
During March, contractors pulled 100 permits to build single-family houses collectively valued at about $20.7 million in unincorporated Lee County. That compares to 84 permits issued in February 2016 and 93 issued in March 2015, according to the Lee County Department of Community Development. Data for 2015 includes permits for the Village of Estero.
Also during March, six multi-family units valued at about $900,000 were permitted, compared to 27 units in February and 183 units in March 2015.
General commercial activity was valued at about $8.1 million for 22 permits, compared to about $6.2 million in February and about $13.9 million in March 2015.
Lee County Community Development issued 4,161 permits of all kinds in March.
Lee County Community Development oversees planning, zoning, development and building services, environmental review, building inspection, and code enforcement for the unincorporated areas of Lee County.

Stevens Construction
completes Unity of Fort Myers
Stevens Construction has completed construction of a new addition to the campus of Unity of Fort Myers, announced Mark Stevens, company president.
Stevens Construction added a 7,060-square-foot building, which houses a 400-seat sanctuary, a dais, bridal suite, restrooms and lobby. Construction occurred while the church remained in operation.
The construction team included project manager, Mark Battaglia; superintendent, Brian Oliver, and project administrator, April Kelley. The design services were provided by Christopher J. Lee Architects, Inc.
