‘Hooters Girls” compete in local swimsuit contest
Hooters Girls will be competing in a local swimsuit contest vying for Miss Hooters International starting March 5 at the Hooters in Fort Myers.
This competition will send “your favorite local Hooters Girls” one-step closer to a spot in the 20th Annual Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant, a release fromthe business states.
The local contests will take place on March 5 at the Hooters in Fort Myers, March 12 at the Hooters in Sarasota, March 19 at the Hooters in Naples and will also include a live concert by The Dweebs. There will also be additional contests on April 14th at the Hooters in Doral and April 15 at the Hooters in Pembroke Pines.
“The pageant contestants will be selected from the Hooters Girls who presently work in the restaurants,” the release states. “They will compete in the local and regional swimsuit contests for one of the 100 coveted spots in the Hooters 20th Annual International Swimsuit Pageant in June in Las Vegas. The community is invited out to cheer on their favorite local Hooters Girls as they compete for the spot in the annual Swimsuit Pageant with live music from The Dweebs, food and drink and other fun activities.”
Hooters Girl contestants will compete for the 2016 Miss Hooters International Title, which includes a $30,000 cash prize and a chance to serve as the face of the iconic brand. She will become a brand ambassador and spokesperson, travel to assist in international openings, appear in the national advertisements, and contribute to marketing initiatives and special events throughout the year.
