Davis joins Southern
Premier Homes of Cape Coral
Duane Davis has joined Southern Premier Homes of Cape Coral as chief operating officer and chief financial officer, announced CEO Chris Cheney.
Davis has held positions of supervisory and fiscal management responsibilities for 33 years from New York to Virginia and now in Florida. He developed and implemented the marketing plans for a 188-acre mixed-use office park in Reston, Va., served as a development manager in Tampa for apartment projects from concept through completion, and built multifamily projects in Tampa and Sarasota totaling 926 units.
Additionally, he has served as vice president and manager for real estate operations in the greater Tampa area and Fort Myers for some development firms in Florida. He began his career in the Florida real estate industry in 1989.

Stevens Construction selected
for Bonita Springs Utilities expansion
Stevens Construction has been selected as the construction manager for an expansion of Bonita Springs Utilities, announced Mark Stevens, company president.
Stevens Construction has started the construction of a 19,000-square-foot, two-story building which will house a support staff facility with offices and conference rooms. Located at 11900 E Terry St., the project is slated for completion in fall of 2016.
The Stevens Construction team includes project manager, Mark Battaglia; project administrator, April Kelley and superintendent, Jamie Butdorf. Architectural services are provided by GMA Architects and Planners.

GCG Construction projects
GCG Construction Inc. (www.GCGbuilds.com) has been selected as the general contractor for the new ground-up office building for JDM Development, LLC. Located at 14290 Metropolis Ave., the 6,170-square-foot building will offer two separate tenant spaces. The Podiatrist Office of Anne McNamara DPM will occupy approximately 3,200 square feet of space with the remainder for a future tenant.

GCG has been hired as the design-build contractor for Waste Pro of Florida, Inc. (www.wasteprousa.com) on its new building canopy extension at the Fort Myers facility. GCG is working with DeLisi Fitzgerald, Inc. to obtain a limited review development order and with Better Buildings Inc. on the steel structure. The project is anticipated to start in the first quarter, 2016.
