Team Aubuchon’s ‘Helping Hands for the Holidays’

event raises $34,500 for local charities

Helping Hands for the Holidays, an annual fund-raising event sponsored by Team Aubuchon, raised $34,500 to benefit three local charities: Make-A-Wish Southern Florida, Ronald McDonald House Charities SWFL and Builders Care.

Celebrating the event’s 17th Anniversary, Aubuchon Team of Companies exceeded their goal of $30,000. Fund-raising activities coincided with a Rockefeller Square-type holiday tree lighting ceremony to kick-off the holiday season, entertainment provided by area youth singers, and an official visit from Santa Claus. The festivities also included food and refreshments donated by more than 15 local restaurants.

“Our 17th Annual Helping Hands for the Holidays was again a wonderful testament to the giving spirit of our friends and neighbors in Southwest Florida. We set a goal to raise $30,000 and due to the generosity of so many wonderful people we raised $34,500! We are so grateful to everyone involved and look forward to continuing the tradition next year,” said Gary Aubuchon, president of Aubuchon Team of Companies.

Aubuchon Team of Companies includes Aubuchon Homes, Sterling Collection, Miloff Aubuchon Realty Group, and Evalutions by Aubuchon (interior design).
