welcomes three associates

Miloff Aubuchon Realty Group has welcomed three residential and new home sales agents to its real estate office located in Cape Coral at 4707 S.E. 9th Place.

Elin Greer recently joined Miloff Aubuchon Realty Group as a new home and residential sales specialist. Her experience ranges from owning a property management business, a decorating/wallpaper hanging business to avid world traveler. A resident of Cape Coral since 2004, Greer is active in the Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR). She was named president of the Women’s Council in 2014 and in 2013 recognized as Realtor of the Year.

Scott Brucker, a Buffalo, New York, native, moved to Cape Coral in 2011 and recently joined The George Patton Team at Miloff Aubuchon Realty Group as a specialist in residential real estate. His area of expertise includes helping investors look for single family homes or apartment complexes. Brucker enjoys spending time exploring new places with his wife and three young boys.

A real estate agent since 1995, Brad Henry joins Miloff Aubuchon Realty Group as a residential specialist. He grew up in northwest Ohio and settled in Southwest Florida in 1988 as a commercial construction project manager. He graduated from Owens Community College with a degree in structural design which enabled him to obtain his general contractors license in 1991. He is a member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce.

Stevens Construction completes

Eye Centers of Florida offices

Stevens Construction recently completed construction of two Eye Centers of Florida locations to serve Cape Coral and North Fort Myers, announced Mark Stevens, company president.

Stevens Construction renovated an existing office resulting in a 3,896-square-foot medical office, located at 2301 Del Prado Blvd., Suite 820, in Cape Coral. Construction included a new lobby, reception, alcove and pre-testing room. The new facility serves as the Cape Coral office for Tan-Long Pham, M.S. O.D. and David C. Brown, M.D. FACS.

In September, Stevens Construction completed a build-out for a North Fort Myers office of Eye Centers of Florida, located at 17966 N. Tamiami Trail, Suite 160. Featuring seven exam rooms, optical lab, diagnostics and a retail shop, this office will serve as the North Fort Myers location of Dr. David C. Brown’s Eye Centers of Florida.

The Stevens Construction team for the projects included Brian Oliver as superintendent, Mark Battaglia as project manager and April Kelley as project administrator. GMA Architects & Planners provided the architectural services.

Stevens Construction has completed four medical offices for Eye Centers of Florida. The company completed the healthcare provider’s Port Charlotte and Naples locations in 2013.

Burnett as superintendent

Owen-Ames-Kimball, a Fort Myers-based construction contracting and management company, has hired Glenn Burnett as superintendent.

Burnett began his construction industry history in 1985, working as a laborer and then lead foreman for a construction company in Fort Lauderdale. He went on to be a self-employed subcontractor for his own company, Burnett’s General Contracting Inc., a company that is still active today. In 2006, he also took on additional work as a structural inspector in the city of Cape Coral, inspecting all aspects of residential and commercial builds for code compliance as well as engineering design compliance.

Lee County Community Development issues November permit report

During November, contractors pulled 47 permits to build single-family houses collectively valued at more than $11 million in unincorporated Lee County and the Village of Estero. That compares to 114 permits issued in October and 72 issued in November 2014, according to the Lee County Department of Community Development.

Also during November, a single multi-family project, a six-unit townhouse valued at more than $800,000, was permitted, compared to a duplex in October and four units in November 2014.

General commercial activity was valued at about $13.3 million for 30 permits, compared to about $1.7 million in October and about $10.4 million in November 2014.

Lee County Community Development issued 3,370 permits of all kinds in November.

Lee County Community Development oversees planning, zoning, development and building services, environmental review, building inspection, and code enforcement for the unincorporated areas of Lee County.
