Lee Building Industry installs
2016 officers and board of directors
The Lee Building Industry Association inducted its 2015 officers and board of directors Friday, Nov. 13, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at Bell Tower Shops in Fort Myers.
Dan Beiter of Riverview Homes will serve as the Lee BIA’s 2016 Board of Directors’ president. First vice president is Randal Mercer of CRE Consultants, secretary is Frank Jenkins of Harbourside Custom Homes and Michael Kosinski of CliftonLarsonAllen will act as treasurer.
George Knott of Knott Ebelini & Hart, PA will serve again for 2016 as Lee BIA’s legal counsel. Past president Victor duPont performed the installation ceremony.

The Lee Building Industry Association, a non-profit organization representing Lee, Hendry and Glades counties, is a voice for the building industry in the regulatory arena. Century 21 International Management Academy
Asheley Mass, the manager of Century 21 Selling Paradise, recently attended the Century 21 International Management Academy. The 3 1/2-day academy, held periodically throughout the year, is such a success that the brand now offers it three times annually, twice at the corporate headquarters of Century 21 Real Estate LLC in Madison, N.J., and once at a remote location in the U.S.
The academy features a strategic overview of the brand’s comprehensive suite of tools and technologies and how to leverage them, and other techniques, into effective real estate brokerage management. Subject matter experts also take IMA participants through the inner workings of how to incorporate strategy and proper planning to take their operations to the next level, and Rick Davidson, president and chief executive of Century 21 Real Estate, ends the IMA with his congratulations and words of encouragement to all the students.

helps “Raise the Roof A Mission for Veterans Day”
Southwest Florida roofing company, Ad-Ler Roofing Inc. is co-sponsoring a charitable project to help provide a few local veterans with new roofs on their homes in honor of Veterans Day. The project is in conjunction with a fundraising event called Operation Impact, “Raise the Roof A Mission for Veterans Day” and a golf tournament, “Golf’N Fore Roof’N.”
The event was conceived and implemented by The Affordable Homeownership Foundation & The Vines Veterans Association at Estero Country Club, whose mission is to replace the roofs and provide needed maintenance for three Veterans homes here in Lee County. Ad-Ler Roofing Inc. is providing the roofs for two of the three veterans.
The following Veterans are receiving new roofs:
Antonio “Anthony” Arancio Marine, served from 1948 1952. Anthony is 86 years old, and has lived in Cape Coral since 1981. He was born on Staten Island, N.Y. His saying: “The discipline the marines taught us stays with you for a lifetime.”
Walter Williams Army, served from 1953-1955. Walter is 82 years old, and has lived in East Fort Myers, since 1996. He was born in Loveland, Ohio, and is married to Jessie.
Edward Hale Army, served from 1957-1963. Edward is 80 years old, and has lived in the Villas in Fort Myers, since 1997. He was born in Baltimore, Md.
Ad-Ler Roofing completed the re-roof on Williams’ home and is finishing the re-roof for Arancio’s home this week. CFS Roofing will be completing Hale’s house before Thanksgiving.
The Estero Country Club and Affordable Homeownership Foundation Inc. raised over $68,000 in donations (cash and in-kind) at the Golf Tournament event “Golf’n Fore Roof’n,” which was held on Sunday, October 25th. This was followed by a Veteran’s Day celebration event on Nov. 11 to unveil the completed re-roof at Williams’ home.
