Westwood Place open for sales

Lee County issues permit
report for September
During September, contractors pulled 118 permits to build single-family houses collectively valued at more than $29 million in unincorporated Lee County. That compares to 81 permits issued in August and 88 issued in September 2014, according to the Lee County Department of Community Development.
Also during September, 722 multi-family units collectively valued at more than $95 million were permitted, compared to 136 in August and 15 in September 2014. The multi-family permitting included 444 units at Emerson Village, located west of U.S. 41 near the intersection of Michael G. Rippe Parkway. Another 168 units were at University Village just south of the Florida Gulf Coast University campus and 120 units were at Estero Oaks, near the intersection of Estero Parkway and Three Oaks Parkway.
General commercial activity was valued at about $50.8 million for 34 permits, compared to $11.9 million in August and about $6.3 million in September 2014. Projects include the $13.7 million Treeline Distribution Center, 14050 Treeline Ave. S., and a $12.5 million assisted living center by Omega Communities off Ben C. Pratt/Six Mile Cypress Parkway near Daniels Parkway.
Lee County Community Development issued 4,163 permits of all kinds in August.
