Gulf Coast Village breaks ground on new assisted living and memory care center in Cape Coral

Gulf Coast Village, a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Cape Coral, recently held a groundbreaking ceremony to launch the construction of Palmview, a state-of-the-art, 130,980-square-foot assisted living and memory care support residence located next to the existing Gulf Coast Village campus at 1333 Santa Barbara Blvd.

Part of a three-phase redevelopment project at Gulf Coast Village, the expansion will add 34 new assisted living and 24 memory support residences.

The project is financed through a $79 million bond and is the first of a three-phase health care redevelopment project at the continuing care community that also includes the addition of 20 nursing suites and the conversion of existing semi-private nursing suites to private suites with shared baths, providing a total of 79 private suites.
