Wheeler director of nursing at Gulf Coast Village

Gulf Coast Village, a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Cape Coral, has promoted Debbie Wheeler, R.N., to director of nursing for the organization.

Wheeler has 23 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with previous involvement in hospital, home health and skilled nursing settings. She has worked with Gulf Coast Village for more than 11 years as a floor nurse, unit coordinator, Minimum Data Set coordinator and assistant director of nursing.

“Wheeler has been a huge asset to Gulf Coast Village and continually demonstrates her dedication to providing excellent care to our residents,” said Kevin Ahmadi, executive director of Gulf Coast Village. “Her experience and leadership skills have played a significant role in fulfilling the mission and vision of Gulf Coast Village and we are looking forward to her continued involvement within our organization.”
