Beer tasting party to benefit Gulf Coast Humane Society
Scenic Cape Harbour Marina is the place to be Tuesday, June 16, as Fathoms Restaurant & Bar and The French Press team up to host a beer tasting party with the new Cape Coral Brewing Company. The event will start at 6 p.m., and offer a sneak peek at what the new brewery will be serving up when it opens next month in downtown Cape Coral.
Partygoers will get a chance to sample three new brews: Gongoozler Ale, Hungryland American Pale Ale and Burrowing Owl Brown Ale. While sipping on some suds, guests can enjoy tasty dishes from Fathoms and The French Press. Beer samples are free, but donations will be accepted to benefit the Gulf Coast Humane Society. The sounds of Southwest Florida’s Soapy Tuna will add to the excitement of the evening.
Fathoms and The French Press host live music every Tuesday and Friday from 6 to 10 p.m., and the best hits on Saturday nights by DJ Juan Gomez. Sunday Funday offers bloody Mary specials from 4 to 7 p.m. Half-price pizza night is Wednesdays from 5 to 10 p.m.
