Century 21 Birchwood International
utilizing ‘The Golden Ruler’
Century 21 Birchwood International announced this week it is implementing the use of “The Golden Ruler,” a reporting tool for online property visibility. Century 21 Real Estate LLC introduced The Golden Ruler to the entire Century 21 System to provide detailed analysis of consumer views and leads resulting from the expanded visibility of the brand’s home listings, which typically appear on more than 800 real estate industry and aggregator websites.
Designed to help Century 21 sales professionals better communicate online marketing visibility results with their customers, The Golden Ruler is an innovative approach to supporting agents and home sellers.
According to the 2010 National Association of Realtors Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, 92 percent of first-time home buyers use the Internet in their home search. The Golden Ruler provides detailed analytics on every website where Century 21 listed homes are marketed, including page views, visits and leads. It also provides information about where consumers who are visiting the online listing are located geographically and how similar properties are performing within the Century 21 network of websites.
Century 21 Birchwood International is an independently owned and operated franchise affiliate of Century 21 Real Estate, the iconic brand and franchisor of the world’s largest residential real estate sales organization, comprised of approximately 6,800 independently owned and operated franchised broker offices in 78 countries and territories worldwide with more than 100,000 independent sales professionals. The Century 21 System provides brand marks, marketing, communications and innovative technology solutions that help enable its franchisees and their independent agents to attract and engage prospects, nurture customers, and deliver a positive real estate transaction experience.
Future Builders of America
extends statewide scholarship deadlines
The Future Builders of America is offering over $35,000 in scholarships to Florida students pursuing careers in the building and construction industry. Applications can be found at futurebuildersofamerica.org/careers/student-scholarships/ and are due to the FBA office by April 20.
The FBA created the scholarship fund to assist in addressing the pressing need for a better educated and trained construction industry workforce. Despite the incredible growth of Florida’s population and economy, the construction industry is facing a skilled workforce shortage.
A recent survey by the National Association of Home Builders found 46 percent of builders reported a worker shortage last year. That’s the highest across the nine trades surveyed since 2000, and even slightly higher than the peak of the housing boom in 2005 when housing starts were running at the pace of about 2 million a year, or about twice the current rate.
Since the inception of the scholarship program, the FBA has awarded over $100,000 in scholarship funds to students interested in careers in the construction industry.
The FBA helps students gain real world experience by linking them with the local building community. Students also have the opportunity to hear Guest speakers and participate in field trips to building sites.
The Future Builders of America is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) and is committed to “Learning TodayBuilding Tomorrow!” For more information visit FutureBuildersOfAmerica.org.
