Stanley maintains certification
in Civil Trial Law for 30 years
The law firm of Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A. has announced that attorney Bruce Stanley has maintained Florida Bar Board Certification in Civil Trial Law for 30 years. Board certification evaluates attorneys’ special knowledge, skills and proficiency in various areas of law and professionalism and ethics in practice.
Only 4,600 of Florida’s 93,000 lawyers have earned board certification. In Florida, only board certified lawyers may use the terms “specialist” or “expert.”
Stanley handles appellate cases and practices civil litigation of all types, with emphasis on medical malpractice, aviation, products liability defense, and eminent domain.

Schwinn to speak at Florida Public Relations Association meeting
Pavese Law Firm partner Christina Harris Schwinn will speak on the topic, “Student Internships: the Good, the Bad, and the Reality” at the Tuesday, March 3, luncheon meeting of the Florida Public Relations Association. The panel discussion will cover the legal, professional and practical aspects of internships from both the organizational and student view.
Schwinn will discuss the legalities of bringing on interns, and she will participate in the discussion and a Q-and-A with Pam Nulman, APR, CPRC, a public relations professor at Florida Gulf Coast University, and Ellen Schiffer, an FGCU senior currently interning with Miromar Development.

RSW announces non-stop services to Atlanta, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky
The Lee County Port Authority recently announced Spirit Airlines will begin daily nonstop service between Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) Sept. 10.
The Port Authority also announced Frontier Airline’s will begin daily nonstop service between Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) on April 30.

Milton named marketing coordinator
