Phase 2 of Country

Lakes nearly sold out

LeeCorp Homes Inc. reports the sales rate has reached 91 percent in Phase 2 of Country Lakes as 29 out of 32 manufactured homesites have been sold. Country Lakes is a 55-plus community on Country Lakes Boulevard, north of Luckett Road, Exit 139 off Interstate 75, in Fort Myers. The average lot size is 77 by 160 feet. The remaining homesites are priced at $29,900, with land and home packages priced from the $150,000s.

The Sand Dollar model built by Jacobsen Homes at 9767 Cattail Court is available for viewing by appointment. The Sand Dollar is a 1,472-square-foot, 3-bedroom, 2-bath home, which includes a raised screen room, double car parking carport and shed. The Sand Dollar model is priced at $174,900, including lot.

Country Lakes’ community amenities include a community clubhouse, fishing lake, tennis facilities and shuffleboard courts. Motor ports are available for motor coaches.

County issues 79 single-family

home permits during January

During January, contractors pulled 79 permits to build single-family houses collectively valued at more than $23.1 million in unincorporated Lee County. That compares to 76 permits issued in December and 77 issued in January 2014, according to the Lee County Department of Community Development.

Also during January, 358 multi-family units collectively valued at more than $20.8 million were permitted, compared to 30 in December and 20 in January 2014. January’s multi-family permitting included 240 units in 10 buildings in the Springs of Estero Development at Ben Hill Griffin Parkway and Everblades Parkway and 83 units in 11 buildings in the Health Park Luxury Apartments at Metro Parkway and Ben C. Pratt/Six Mile Cypress Parkway.

General commercial activity was valued at $26 million for 17 permits, compared to nearly $6.5 million in December and more than $2.9 million in January 2014. Commercial permits included a $17.5 million, three-story senior living facility at Tamiami Trail and Pelican Colony Boulevard and the $7.5 million Wal-Mart at 11320 Summerlin Square Dr.

Lee County Community Development issued 3,386 permits of all kinds during January.

Lee County Community Development oversees planning, zoning, development and building services, environmental review, building inspection, and code enforcement for the unincorporated areas of Lee County.

Thirteen homes

Thirteen homes are available for quick move-in at Lindsford, a new community by D.R. Horton’s Southwest Florida Division. This centrally located 260-acre community offers a home for every lifestyle, with 15 plans to choose from starting in the low $200s.

Taylor Morrison hosts grand

opening for new models at River Hall

Taylor Morrison, a leading builder and developer in North America, has announced a Grand Opening weekend, Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 7-8, to mark the debut of its model homes at River Hall, a Lee County master-planned communities.
