Hans and Sonja Stumpf, the new owners of BAM German Bakery and More, recently announced that the restaurant has been remodeled and is now open for breakfast and lunch.

Located at 1507 S.E. 47th St., in Cape Coral, the bakery, restaurant/cafe serves breakfast and lunch every day from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and the bakery is open Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Stumpfs purchased the bakery in April 2014. Since that time they have remodeled and added a comfortable restaurant/cafe with outside and inside seating areas.

According to the Stumpfs, they use “the highest quality ingredients to create artisan breads, pastries, cakes and an assortment of other German delicacies.” Before opening the expanded business, they “went back to the basics, and all of the products are handcrafted, made fresh daily,” and the products do not contain any additives or preservatives.

In addition to providing the business’ speciality bakery items to some of Southwest Florida’s top restaurants, BAM German Bakery and More also sells products at the farmers markets in Cape Coral, Naples, Punta Gorda, Englewood, Marco Island, Fort Myers Beach and downtown Fort Myers.
