Y Not Dance studio opens
on Pine Island Road in Cape Coral
Y Not Dance recently opened its doors to offer Cape Coral residents dance lessons at reasonable prices. Owner Nathan Maxwell has taught dance for over 17 years, working for many elite studios during that time, giving him vast knowledge of many types of dance.
Y Not Dance provides ballroom, Latin, social and competitive dance lessons. This includes private lessons, group lessons as well as a monthly party.
Students who buy private lessons get unlimited group lessons and are also able to attend the monthly party complimentary.
Group lessons are scheduled twice a week at 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday. Y Not Dance also offers private and group lessons for children, young adults and couples.

Free Chipping & Putting Clinic
at Hunter’s Run Golf Club
A Free Chipping & Putting Clinic will be held at Hunter’s Run Golf Club, 1006 S.E. 4th Place, Cape Coral, at 1 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Dec. 12-13. Southern Fresh Farms
to hold grand opening Saturday
Southern Fresh Farms will be holding its grand opening Saturday, Dec 6, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The ribbon-cutting is at noon, and everyone is invited to come check out Southwest Florida’s newest local tourist attraction.
Southern Fresh Farms, a new agriculture park and farmer’s market, features produce and fish market, petting farm, fishing dock, smoothie bar, playground, rentable gardens and tours through its hydroponic field and aquaponic systems.
The farms’ goal is to help self-sustain Lee County with its own produce, and educate residents on where their food comes from and how it is grown.

announces holiday food drive
The law firm of Osterhout & McKinney, P.A., is hosting a holiday food drive for a local organization serving senior citizens in need.
According to Lance McKinney, managing partner for Osterhout & McKinney, the firm will collect nonperishable food items for Friendship Centers of Lee County. All donations should be dropped off at Osterhout & McKinney’s office, located at 3783 Seago Lane in Fort Myers, no later than Friday, Dec. 19.

national survey of financial advisors
For the 20th time, the financial services firm Edward Jones ranked No. 1 in WealthManagement.com’s (formerly Registered Rep) annual survey of the nation’s six largest financial services firms, according to Cynthia Conley and John Evans of Cape Coral. The magazine randomly selects financial advisors nationwide and asks them to rank their firms in various categories.
Edward Jones’ overall score was 9.5 out of 10 possible points. The firm scored top marks (9.5) for its online client account information and 8.8 for the quality of its mobile applications, according to WealthManage-ment.com.
According to WealthManage-ment.com, between Sept. 24 and Oct. 31, REP. magazine emailed invitations to participate in an online survey to print and web subscribers and advisors in the Meridian-IQ database. By Oct. 31, a total of 2,965 responses were received. Financial advisors rated their current employers on almost 50 items related to their satisfaction. Ratings are based on a 1-to-10 scale, with 10 representing the highest satisfaction level.
