Fafco Solar to provide power for 10th Annual Earth Day Festival

2 min read

Guests at the 10th Annual Earth Day Festival will be enjoying another year of even “greener” festivities, with Fafco Solar, a Cape Coral solar electricity company), providing a solar powered entertainment stage.

The festival will be held at the Koreshan State Historic Site in Estero Saturday, April 23, and will feature live music, vendors, artists and other entertainment beginning at 9:45 a.m. and extending through the early evening.

“Fafco Solar is thrilled to be a part of this 10th Annual Earth Day celebration,” said Dan Morrissey, owner of Fafco Solar. “Our entire philosophy revolves around living in a more balanced harmony with our environment. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet others who share these priorities and goals for creating a more sustainable future. We are also excited about the opportunity to reduce the carbon footprint of the event itself through solar powering the entertainment stage.”

The solar power for the Earth Day Festival stage will be provided by Fafco Solar’s Solar2Go mobile solar generator trailer. The system has the ability to provide 120/240 volt standard electrical service, that can be used for any type of event. The system is completely silent, creating a very appealing benefit over noisy generators. It also has a substantial battery backup for cloudy days and evening events.

The Earth Day Festival will feature live music and entertainment throughout the day, provided by musicians such as Rosie Emery, James Willhite Band, The Lids and Adam Mac. Belly dancing will be performed by Natasha Hazard between music sets. Attendees to the event may also enjoy free kayak rides, organic food, drum circles, kids activities, and displays by local artists.
