Transitions Optical names Martin to Pro Forum
Cape Coral Eye Center’s practice administrator, Dr. Suzi Martin, has been selected by Transitions Optical Inc., to serve on the Transitions Pro Forum. Fund-raiser planned
John Michaels Jewelers and Patricia Faitel of National Gold Parties are hosting a fund-raiser for Kiwanis Kids. The event will be held Wednesday, March 16, from 5-8 p.m., at John Michaels Fine Jewelry, 1325 Cape Coral Parkway.

Southwest Florida International airport receives award
Frost & Sullivan presented Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) with a 2010 U.S. Air Travelers’ Choice Award in the category of Most Problem-free Airport for Travelers Arriving by Surface Transportation in early January. Frost & Sullivan Best Choice Awards recognize companies that have demonstrated excellence in one or more aspects of their operations in the estimation of their customers.
Frost & Sullivan conducted independent research of U.S. air travelers for its 2010 U.S. Airport Travel Experience survey. For the arrival surface transportation category, the award was based on the percentage of travelers who reported no problems with construction delays, traffic congestion or difficulty finding parking or customer drop-off points. Travelers were asked about experiences in the third quarter of 2010.

Mann, Haverfield named co-managing partners at Pavese Law Firm
Charles Mann and William T. Haverfield II have been named co-managing partners at Pavese Law Firm. As co-managing partners, Mann and Haverfield will work together in overseeing all aspects of the firm’s operations.

Gora/McGahey Architects completes expansion of Enterprise Rent-A-Car
Gora/McGahey Architects has completed design services for the expansion and build-out of the Enterprise Rent-A-Car facility at 1905 Boy Scout Drive in Fort Myers for Enterprise Holdings.
The design includes the renovation of 9,100 square feet and the addition of a 2,250-square-foot area. The renovation and expansion will enhance the facility for use in car leases and sales, as well as other business operations such as training.
