Povia Paints moves to new location in Cape Coral
Povia Paints has moved to a new, larger location at 1020 Pine Island Road, announced co-owners George and Michael Doikos.
Established in 1968, Povia Paints manufactures paints and coatings specifically designed to withstand the Florida climate. Povia offers a full line of architectural and industrial coatings, as well as all of the supplies necessary for painting. The store services both retail and commercial customers.
“We are pleased with the location of our new, more spacious store that displays a larger array of the products we have to offer,” said George Doikos.
The locally owned and operated store moved from a previously owned location on Del Prado Boulevard. The new location is more convenient to their customer base. Povia Paints has three company owned stores in Lee and Collier counties.

Ice Cream Club of Cape Coral II opens on Del Prado
The Ice Cream Club of Cape Coral II is open at 2301 Del Prado Blvd., Suite 830, in Cape Coral. The ice cream parlor if open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
According to company president Joe Mikulus, “The Ice Cream Club is a fun, family friendly atmosphere. It is not just a simple visit to an ice cream parlor, it is an experience.”
The family owned and operated business offers a wide variety of premium ice cream flavors, ice cream cakes, shakes, sundaes, smoothies, frozen coffee drinks, New York-style egg creams and more.

Evans takes over Edward Jones office in south Cape Coral
John T. Evans has been named to take over the local Edward Jones office located at 4226 S.E. 16th Place in Cape Coral. Evans transferred to south Cape Coral from Edward Jones’ office in north Cape Coral.
Lynda Bush is serving the branch office as branch office administrator.

A 23-year resident of Lee County, Babair has more than 16 years experience in the marketing and public relations industry. Miller named development manager for local company
