Southwest Florida Training Society names Lorna Kibbey as president
The Southwest Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development today named Lorna Kibbey president of the local chapter. She has been a long-time member of the chapter, and has served on the board for the past four years.
Ms. Kibbey is president and owner of Kibbey Leadership Solutions, a firm that designs and delivers seminars and speeches on leadership, communications, and motivation. She has more than 22 years of managerial experience in the government sector.
The newly named president holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from the University of Cincinnati.

Bell Tower Shops revitalization plans
Bell Tower Shops, the landmark Fort Myers lifestyle center, has announced plans for a multimillion dollar investment that will modernize the premier shopping destination. Work, which includes a wide variety of exterior enhancements, began in May and is scheduled to be completed before the 2009 fall shopping season.
The project, which will support more than 50 workers, will be undertaken with little or no inconvenience to shoppers.

The Southwest Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce invites the public to attend its “Businesswomen International Conference” on Saturday, June 6th
