Geo’s Italian Restaurant

Geo’s Italian Restaurant recently opened at 1140 Ceitus Terrace in Cape Coral. The restaurant is owned and operated by George and Lauren Lukas, Rear Admiral (NOAA, retired) Richard and Alisa Behn, all residents of the Cape. The Lukases were previously part of a highly successful chain of Italian restaurants.

Geo’s offers authentic Italian dishes and the restaurant was voted the Best Italian Restaurant and Best Restaurant for 2009 in the Cape Coral Daily Breeze “Best Of” poll.

Grimes, Romero promoted at First Community Bank

First Community Bank of Southwest Florida has announced it has promoted Linda Grimes to assistant vice presi-dent/office manager at the Daniels Park-way branch, and Puja Romero to customer service representative in the Red Cedar branch.

Grimes has worked for First Com-munity Bank for four years and has 10 years of banking experience. She started her banking career as a CSR, working her way up. As a bank officer, her new duties include managing the branch’s daily operations.

Romero started as a teller and has also worked for First Community Bank for four years. As a CSR she will assist customers by providing the bank’s products to current and future clients.

Chionopoulos joins Sasso & Teuber

Michael E. Chionopoulos has joined the law firm of Sasso & Teuber in Cape Coral. He was previously a litigator for 15 years before serving as an infantry officer and JAG officer in the Middle East. After being decorated for his service, Chionopoulos returned home and was appointed as a judge in Oklahoma. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in December 2007 and was employed with a specialty firm before joining Sasso & Teuber.

He brings with him a host of litigation skills as well as over five years experience as senior vice president and general counsel of a public company.

He primarily practices complex family law, corporations and general civil litigation, including estates. Additionally, he is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th Federal Circuits of Appeal and the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. Robin Youmans has joined Allied Recycling as managing partner of Allied Portables LLC, the firm’s portable restroom division. In this role, Youmans is responsible for the development of the division’s business plan and the management of all aspects of the operations.

Youmans brings nearly a decade of extensive experience to her role in the company. She has previously held positions in the industry that included regional sales manager and assisted in all operational management functions.

J.L. Wallace completes SunTrust building project

J.L. Wallace Inc. has completed the renovation of a portion of the fourth floor space in the SunTrust building located at 12751 New Brittany Blvd. in Fort Myers. The future tenant will be First American Title Insurance Company.

The project consisted of the complete build-out of 3,000 square feet of tenant space in the existing building including HVAC upgrade, drywall, flooring, and cabinets. Architectural services were provided by Avalon Engineering.

Pileta earns top service team member recognition

Dia Pileta, service advisor at John Marazzi Nissan of Naples, has been named the top service team member for the month of April, achieving a high 94.5 Nissan Customer Service Index (CSI) rating by her customers.

Pileta wrote 446 repair orders for the month, averaging 22 customers per day. Nissan’s CSI rating system is a customer survey of the service experience. Customers rate the promptness of the greeting, how thoroughly the Service Advisor communicates the repair work and follows through to ensure the vehicle is repaired right the first time and ready when promised. Cohill vice president of sales for P2i Ltd.

P2i Ltd., the UK-based world leader in liquid repellent nano-coating technology, has appointed Cape Coral resident Eric Cohill as vice president, sales to drive business in the USA.

Cohill, based near Jaycee Park, is an experienced and award-winning sales professional. Before joining P2i, he was president of CytoCore, a Chicago clinical diagnostics company specializing in early cancer screening.
