The Landings holds ribbon cutting

The Landings held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday Feb. 12, celebrating the newly renovated Helm Club was the site of this gathering.

Compass Construction Inc. completed the $6.9 million multi-phase project in November 2008. The 25,000 SF clubhouse, golf and tennis shops now provide a private dining and socializing area for the residents of The Landings in South Fort Myers. Amenities include a complete interior renovation, new ceilings, faux finishes, a large bar area with wood floors and wainscot walls and columns, a hi-tech lighting system, energy efficient HVAC, plumbing and electrical fixtures, new kitchen, sound system throughout the building and a surround sound theater in the large dining area. Also included in the renovation project was The Wheelhouse and new Administrative offices.

Bruce Tyson of Billy/Tyson Architects designed the renovation project; Ron Kopko was the Interior Designer for the project and Joe Luft of Compass Construction, Inc. was the on-site project superintendent.
