FPRA challenges PR professionals to reveal identities

The Southwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association is inviting all public relations professionals to reveal their “secret identities” and participate in “Super-Powered PR”-the 2009 Image Awards Program-by submitting their winning entries.

The Image Awards competition is conducted annually by the FPRA to recognize outstanding public relations programs in Florida and to both encourage and promote the development of public relations professionalism in our state.

The Image Awards have become a standard of public relations excellence in the state of Florida. Winners demonstrate the very best examples of innovation, planning and design in the public relations field.

The awards competition includes four divisions of categories:

– Public Relations Programs

– Printed Tools of Public Relations

– Audio/Visual Tools of Public Relations

– Student Projects in Public Relations

The 2009 Image Awards will showcase the past year’s best campaigns and brightest professionals. Be sure to check out the complete Call for Entries on: www.fpraswfl.org as this year’s competition has some important changes.

Submit your winning entry to Image Super-Powered PR at Lee County Electric Cooperative 4980 Bayline Drive N. Fort Myers, FL 33917.

Entries are due by March 20 at 5:00 p.m.

Cost is $35 per entry for members $50 per entry for non-members.

If submitting 3 or more entries, FPRA Member rate is $30 each.

Student entries are $10 for members and 15 for non-members.

Established in 1938, FPRA is the oldest public relations organization in the country.

FPRA is dedicated to developing public relations practitioners, who, through ethical and standardized practices, enhance the public relations profession in Florida.
