Lee County emergency medical services employees attain credentials

Lee County Emergency Medical Services added seven credentialed medics to its division through their successful completion of the agency’s field training program.

Paramedics recently receiving credentials are:

Jim O’Leary of Cape Coral

Kevin Piazzisi of Palm Harbor

Emergency Medical Technicians recently receiving credentials are:

Alma McClure of Cape Coral

Sara Liesen of Fort Myers

Erik Montano of Bonita Springs

Jared Formosa of Cape Coral

Richard Stubbe of North Fort Myers

Each paramedic and EMT that Lee County hires or promotes is required to participate in a four week orientation and complete a field training program. Upon completion of the field training program, recruits are required to pass a test before an internal credentialing board which includes the EMS medical director.
