Hussey appointed to Construction Industry Licensing Board
J. Durward Hussey Jr., president of Fort Myers-based OFM Builders & Consultants, was recently appointed by Governor Charlie Crist to serve a four-year term on the Construction Industry Licensing Board.
A division of the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the board is responsible for overseeing the enforcement and compliance of the construction industry.
Hussey also serves on several Lee County industry boards including the Construction Licensing Board, Board of Adjustment and Appeals, and Mechanical (Plumbing) Board of Adjustment and Appeals, and is a state-licensed general contractor and roofer.
A licensed contractor since 1985, Hussey owns and operates OFM Builders & Consultants, specializing in commercial construction, construction management and renovations.
Recently completed projects include the Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s turtle tank restoration and generator refurbishment, medical office renovations in Estero and Bonita Springs and Fort Myers River District commercial projects.
