Clippendales Pet Salon now located at Cape Dog Bakery
Lou and Anita Simmons, owners of the Cape Dog Bakery, announce Clippendales Pet Salon is now open within the Cape Dog Bakery facility.
The Cape Dog Bakery facility is located at 1207 Cape Coral Parkway E., in the Big John’s shopping center. Wil Haynie and her daughter, Holly Bernard, opened Clippendales on Southeast 47th Street four years ago.
“We wanted to provide a top-notch grooming salon under the same roof,” Anita Simmons said. “Wil and Holly were the first people we thought of because of the outstanding grooming done at Clippendales.
“People can drop off their dog for grooming and pick up treats and goodies all in the same place,” she continued. “We stock special hair accessories and clothing that people enjoy dressing their dogs in, so it’s a natural fit.”
Clippendales grooms all sizes of dog from big to small. It specializes in individual service, and for the pet’s safety it only offers cageless drying.
Grooming is by appointment Monday-Wednesday and Friday from 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Appointments can be made by calling 540-2540.
The Cape Dog Bakery is Lee County’s headquarters for holistic and natural premium foods. Not just a bakery, the store opened in July 2004 and continues to provide everything for dogs including collars, harnesses, toys, clothing and bakery treats.
Brands that are stocked include California Natural, EVO, Innova, Canidae, Wellness, Eagle Pack Holistic Select, Solid Gold and Merrick.
Simmons feels the key to a happy and healthy pet is to feed it quality food.
